Error code 2820 canon w8400 new print head

The first smaller posters printed just fine and even the big ones.
We did not do any adjustments or calibrations other than a few cleaning cycles and the Install of the new print head procedure.

It prints sm BK text just fine and the other colors are good.
we do the print head alignment and get this error.
Also when we print BIG black letter on a 3'x6' banner it seems like the BK just starts to run out and lighten up up to where is stops printing BK but keeps printing the other colors.

As if its run out of ink and then there is a dusting beyond the boarder of the letter with very light BK.

The ink was fine for the other printing and the INK monitors ARE turned off but all ink level are full.

There is no error what it prints while its doing this.
The cleaning cycle shows plenty of BK ink in the Mcart.

Its not the PDF file ,the other colors print fine.
there seems not to be any clogging and you would think that the Det would show an error.

    Really need the help guys.
    Thanks

    Of course,
Never use that aftermarket crap, it does not contain the additives to clean the tubes and print head.
What is happening is the print on 12x18" cut sheet solid black is perfect,
got rid of the error code. but printing on banners and can get expensive

Re: Error code 2820 canon w8400 new print head

    Hi there

I have the same problem with my w8400, but I am using not GENUINE inks.
It is my second head within 6 months.
Have you managed to fix yours?

    Please let me know
    Thanks
    Agnes
