Canon IR C3220 Touch Pad issues

Currently our touchpad is working, but all the buttons are off by an inch. so to press something, you touch an inch to the left. I have no idea how to reset the touchpad, or to fix this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

From service mode level 1: Copier -> Function -> Panel -> Touch check

Screen with a cross in the upper left corner appears. Touch the center of the cross and it will move clockwise around the screen with each touch.

If the calibration doesn't help, then there's no other option than replacing the LCD with new one.

Okay, I did find out how to get into Service Mode, however my touch screen is off by 1 inch to the left. so i can't "touch" the touchck button. It is to the left, off the touch screen. Suggestions?

If that's the case, then there's no other option than replace the LCD.

So because the alignment is off, I'd have to get the LCD replaced? There's no possible way to center the alignment of the touchpad without that button?

As far as I know, the calibration is the only way.

Calibration or parts replacement are the only two options as iRC told you, if the touch panel is off too far, then you are only left with the replacement option. I had to do that last week with a 3570 that was just too far gone to get it into the calibration mode...

I'm not sure what causes the calibration to change. Yesterday it moved even more to the left than it was previously. However i turned it off this morning, unplugged it, waited 10 seconds, and then plugged it back in. it is now less "off" than it was before. Hopefully there is enough room to touch the buttons i need to touch.

This happened with a canon C3100 we had a year ago, the touch screen was off by an inch and then it reset itself, so it was something we dealt with for 2 weeks, then went back to normal.
