    canon IR 8500

    SKMBT_75011062413530.pdfAttachment 10479leaving lines after long run. replaced t/s corona assembly also noticed paper lifting up under drum. this is a leagal document so the top portion is white out. Thanks

    Try covering the Upper and Lower Pre-Transfer Guides with electrical tape

    arcing of the Transfer Guide Bias ???

    I did the electrical tape on the lower guide due to a e-069 code that occurred several months ago. I did not see any codes that were resent, as far as the upper guide is it called upper registration guide, I did not see a pre-registration guide in the manual. Thanks for the responce

    fisrt chek the humidity paper
    then chek the registration cluth if the transfer sparation coronas was replaced
    chek cluth break,,, registration inlet plate from right deck cover are opened

    Yes, I replaced the reg. clutch. what am I looking for on the inlet guide? paper is good, running it through other machines. "registration inlet plate from right deck cover are opened" What am I looking for? have not checked the clutch break! thanks

    yes, it seems to be in the same location. Doesn't seem to change positions! I am running it LTR only.

    paper sideways when entered into the registration,,may be caused feed roll before registration,,
    try LTRR and try LTR running, whats the difference???

    Use to service this model ages ago, is there a pre-transfer ass'y? Tried pulling out & run a few copies.
    The HVT's cable/plastic housing might be "burn"

    Does paper jams occur when make copies in 2-sided mode for said 20 pages?
    Transfer/Sep cable/plastic housing likewise have "burn" marks
