    Ir6570 e202-0002

When making 2 sided copies, job completes then gives E202-0002 code and requires shut down. Doesn't do it on 2 sided prints, just copies. 1 sided copies and prints work fine as well. Replaced reader controller board and cleaned sensor. Any ideas.....doesn't make since that the motor would be bad, right, since everything else is fine? If you are running 50 2 sided copies, it makes all of them and then throws this code after the last one. My tech is leaning towards something in the feeder even though code says hp sensor, motor or pcb..any ideas?

202 > There is a scanner HP error (home position)

    See lasts jammings codes....
Check all sensors in service mode......& clear
Check motor in service mode...... or power tester (motor vol. & R-Om )

    Most likely dirty sensor

    See attach.

    check the reader memory

remove/clean-re-seat the ROM on the Memory pcb board

Ok we have replaced the hp sensor, motor and board. We also replaced the reader controller pcb and the adf controller. Still same problem. It will do 20-30 duplex copies fine, but if you do 40, it throws the e202-0002 code upon the last sheet exiting the feeder.

did you try the interface PCB? FM2-3624-000

I would also check your wiring to make sure nothing is pinched to the frame or a wire tie being too tight.

check that the Glass Holder Assembly moves freely with no binding. Check the tie wraps on the connector for the M6 motor.

Loosen the two screws and apply pressure to the clamp making sure the belt teeth are seated in the clamp. Tighten the screws and test for CIS homing and white plate reading. With the DADF front cover removed you can watch the CIS move from home to reading position by powering the IR5075 off and on .

I remember fighting this same code several years ago and i ended up replacing the wiring harness in the DADF and both the flat ribbon cables under the glass after swapping boards and getting no where with it.
