To hide the Scan tab from the LCD display, make the following selections in sequence and change the setting to '0': [Service mode (Level 2) > COPIER > Option > BODY > UI-EXT]. (The default setting of this mode is '1'.)

Reference: The following are service mode items used to control the screen displayed on LCD display.

    - UI-COPY: whether to display the Copy screen
    - UI-BOX: whether to display the Box screen
    - UI-SEND: whether to display the Send screen
    - UI-FAX: whether to display the FAX screen
    - UI-PRINT: whether to display the Print job screen
    - UI-RSCAN: whether to display the Scanner screen
    - UI-EPRNT: whether to display the Expansion print screen (EFI print screen)
    - UI-WEB: whether to display the Web browser screen
