    irc 2550 faint

good day. After a seemingly routine K drum replacement on an irc 2550, faint prints resulted. The tech on site inspected the itb locks, front and back. This machine already has the modified lock levers from the factory. The prints are faint for all colours. I've checked the web site for bulletins and found nothing relating to this issue. Was hoping someone might have had this occur as well. Thanks!

This is almost always related to your ITB. 1. Make sure the white cover for the transfer belt is snapped down properly. 2. Make sure your ITB is turning freely by rotating the drive cog on the belt unit. 3. Check the ITB drive gear on the inner back wall of the machine (go through the right side door for access). If it turns freely with no resistance and DOES NOT turn the drum drive gears along with it you have a bad Drum/ITB drive unit.

I would double check the ITB and the secondary transfer. Stop a PG-10 so you can see what the image looks like on the ITB and drum units. This will narrow down where your issue is at
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
