    iR1023/1025 Paper Drawer Issue

From day one, for us at least, these models have had an issue with the paper drawer popping out IF the units are not on a totally flat surface.

I can see it appears to be just a small plastic tab that catches - no real lock that I can see.

Have any of you come up with a "field fix"?

you are correct that this is an issue with these units. most of the time I take some rubber pads and put on the bottom to try and level it out as good as I can. Also cleaning the rails and removing all of the grease on them seems to help a little as well.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Thanks for the reply. You have given me an idea. I will take one of the damper pads for a DF and place it in the rail close to the "catch" (to raise it up a little). The damper should "squish" as the drawer is pulled over it and yet not do a lot of drag. May take a week to get back there but I will repost the results.

    Thanks again.
