I am an EXPERT on the 5800 and the 3100 series. ( never got paid right for working on that trash either )
These are bad fuser rollers.
You need a rebuild/fuser unit and updated firmware !!! call a tech or sanford and sons!

Why is it that amateurs cannot admit that the don't know WTF they're doing?
Nobody's going to rub their nose in it if they just fess up, up front. It just saves a whole lot back & forth, repetitive questions. It's nothing to be ashamed of. God knows, I don't know anything about that Canon either, but it makes no sense to pretend I do.
I hope I can identify a worn heat roller though. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

A tech will know what it looks like new.
A user thinks they can clean the toner off the drum with nail polish remover.
Why do they call it common sense?
If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
Thank you so much for this information. I am in PA, Scranton Area. The closest tech from me is 35 miles away. I already took the fuser assembly out and replaced the internal guide delivery. The part was overheated and cracked. Yes, there is a lot of clicking on the right side of the machine. Is it possible to replace the rollers? Rollers cost $170. New Fuser $380. Refurbished fuser $210. What should I do?
like you have already been told...BUY A FUSER ASSEMBLY. Trying to rebuild it is a waste of time and effort!
You will need a tech to update the firmware and check over any other potential issues the unit might have.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
