    ir3300 - E602-0003

I know it is the hard drive and know how to reload the firmware and everything. But when I go to the machine I notice the cassette heater switch is turned ON. I have turned it OFF and next call I get the switch is turned ON again. I put a clear plastic cover over it and still it gets turned ON.
My question is there a setting on the machine that can automatically turn the switch ON? And if so how do I disable the heater all toghther?
    Thanks
Also I noticed a removable Fuse on the board for the switch, what is the fuse for?

Well with the cassette heater switch (that is what it is called in the manual) it also turns on the lens heater and the mirror heater. It gets the back of the machine hot just about where the hard drive is and ends up damaging the hard drive.

And I just found out if your remove the fuse then you can not turn on the items.

    Just disable SW2
