Canon IRC3200 Color copier OPC Drum cyclinders

    Hi there again,

I was wondering if i could use the same OPC Drum Cyclinder on all the four drums of the Canon IRC3200n, rather than having to buy individual OPC Drum Cyclinders for the black, cyan, yallow, magenta drums respectively. I'm thinking of ordering OPC Drum Cyclinders for our color copiers which are in need of replacing the OPC cyclinders.

Thanks for all da help guys.

did not know that someone sold those drums only.
    they are the same.
the toner and carrier gets depleted long before the drum dies.
they also leak and leave cleaning blade lines
    good luck to you

    great if it works.
i rarely see one with a drum problem, just mainly leaking.
sometimes i would save the drum and primary roller from a low count leaky unit, to use somewhere else, but i might have used it once or twice.

I second Vigour. From my experience drum itself is not a problem. Leaking is.
I don't know what are you trying to solve by changing the only part that lasts longer.

Thanks guys for all the info, i was just thinking of replacing the OPC cyclinders as mine had all scratches on it, saving me money on having to buy the new drum units while everything is okay except the surface of the opc cyclinders.

So to date there is no real good solution for leakyness?

I am not sure if it is the economy and the fact that consumables are sitting around a lot longer in warehouses, or if they are being mishandled by shipping companies, but I've had a run of leaky drums lately. Most recently I replaced a black that started leaking at only 20K clicks

Im the same as Canon Tech. On 3200's put them in before the drum does 200%. On these I tend to get E020 codes than leaking. On the 4580's put them in before 300% . These leak especially the black
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!
