Jam 010B - Possible combination advice needed to check.

    Hi,

Got this error code 010B on IR8500. Checked almost everything but the problem still exist.

During jam, paper tend to be halfway at fixing unit.

    Any idea guys?

Anything that should I focus on?

    Thanks

010b delay to inner delivery sensor (ps9)

    fuser rollers
    cracked fuser gear
a nick in the sensor arms--you have to feel for it with your fingernail
    bad fuser drive motor
    clutch behind the fuser motor.
rollers and one way gear and bearings just after the fuser (if the lead edge gets that far)

The best part I like in vigours answer is the fuser drive gear,, the internal lug gets broken off and the gear will slip around the fuser roller sometimes, and drive the roller correctly sometimes.

Was the lug broke off, or did the gear break in two??

Not sure if it is good or bad timing on that one,
not too bad if you have the gear onhand though...
