IRC/CLC3220 - SRA3 grayed out on stack bypass

    Hi fellow Copytechers!

I've got a problem with my CLC-3220 (hooked up to a ColorPass Z3000). Following an MMI reset that caused screen freeze (most helpfully solved by great people on this forum), the printer will no longer allow the detection of SRA3 paper via the manual stack bypass tray.

I have looked through other postings and the service manual, and have got the machine to make the automatic adjustments for A4, A4R and A6 paper sizes but no success.

I have also changed the ORG-LGL, ORG-LTR and ORG-LTRR settings in Copier>Option to 3, 2 and 2 respectively - which I believe tells the machine that it should be working in metric paper sizes. No success with this either (and I did power down the machine after each change to the settings).

Trying to input the X/Y paper dimensions manually delivers a message saying that the guides are not set for that paper size.

Any and all help gratefully received!

    quick ??
is it that the Fiery print driver will not see that size in MF TRAY or >

    when u place
    SRA3 Paper in MF TRAY
the 3220 will not DISPLAY SRA3 size on control panel ??

    BECAUSE U CLEARED MMI ,
    I believe u will need to re-register SRA3
size in COMMON SETTINGS FOR BYPASS TRAY

    Registering Irregular Size for Stack
Bypass] appears -> press [Registering Irregular Size for Stack Bypass].

    COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>MF-A4R
Use it to adjust the paper width basic value for the manual feed tray.
    COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>MF-A6R
Use it to adjust the paper width basic value for the manual feed tray.
    COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>MF-A4
Use it to adjust the paper width basic value for the manual feed tray.

    COPIER>FUNCTION<CST>

    Automatically adjusts cassette/manual feed tray.
    MF-A4R, MF-A6R, MF-A4
Registers basic value of manual feeder’s (DADF’s) paper width.
    A4R width: 210mm, A6R width: 105mm, A4 width: 297mm
    • Once registered, the basic value can be fine-tuned by executing
    COPIER> ADJUST > CST-ADJ > MF-A4R, MF-A6R or MF-A4.
    Operation
    1) Place A4R size paper in the manual feeder, and set the size guide to the
    method A4R width.
    2) In this service mode, select “MF-A4R” to display the item in reverse.
Press the OK key to perform automatic adjustment and register the
    value.
    3) Repeat Steps 1) and 2) to register the basic values for the A6R and A4
    sizes.

    just to note

turn 'OFF' the functions for the Stack Bypass settings under Common Settings, Drawer Eligibility for APS/ADS for the Copy, Mail Box, and Fax (Receive).

    also in COMMON settings
The default entry mode for numeric values is inches, but you can change it to millimeters by turning the Inch Entry mode 'Off'.

The 3220 will not display the SRA3 on the machine control panel. The SRA3 option is grayed out all the time - it's the only one that is not available - the 305x457 option is available.

I tried the COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ> system, and it changed the values. However, the SRA3 option remains grayed out!
