    ir 3300 network printer

    sir,

I have Canon ir3300, i have connected copier both through the parallel port as well as Network port. My problem is -- i am only able to print through the parallel port. However the machine automatically takes an 'ip' from the DHCP router and with the help of Network ScanGear software i am able to scan documents.

my Query here is if i can scan i should also able to Print. Please do guide me how i can enable print through the network port.

    thanks

Go to Additional Functions>System Settings>Network Settingsh>IP Settings>IP Address and turn off the DHCP. As Panalkar said, set a Static IP address. Reload drivers on all computers using an IP printing port with the static IP address you just set. That should take care of your problem.

Let us know how it worked out.
