read the PDF below first-before doing below
First try re-seating all the Boards,Connectors,Dimms, as well as the Boot Rom on the Main Controller. If the code is still occurring replace the Memory Dimms located on the Main Controller.
When one or more of the Sub PCB’s are not properly seated in their slot on the main controller
there are multiple error codes that can be generated.
READ THIS PDF it applies to all iR's
TP07 094[1].pdf
disregard that the 3220 or your code is not listed/
this procedure has helped many a tech

602 is a hard drive error, check your cabling, and try installing system software on the drive...

I removed clean boards cleared th mn-con. powered on got code
did u read the pdf I posted about measuring > and re-seating.
why and who told u to clear MN-CON ??????
MN-CON
Clears RAM on main controller PCB’s SRAM board.
The RAM is cleared after the OK key is pressed.
Caution
• Executing this item initializes all the data on the SRAM board. In other words, file management information for the hard disk is initialized, and image data on the hard disk can no longer be read.
Before executing this item, explain to the user that all images in the BOX will be lost, and receive permission to execute.
Operation
1) Select COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > P-PRINT to print out the
method service mode setting values.
2) Select this item, then press the OK key.
did u put back the settings ???

another tech told me to clear it. im working on putting the settings in now...wish i never listen to him. you are a wealth of info. thanks for all your help so far.
on iR's u need to keep copies of your P-Print settings & User Data settings under that small cover/ inside the front door/ in there u may find the original spec settings> leave them in there-
if it pops a 602 code again/ try this> power off>hold down 1 & 9 key while powering back up> release when u see the white defrag boxes droping on LCD-/ when complete it should go in download if ok- then power of/on printer - may get lucky/
re-check your COPIER>OPTION<INT-FACE>IMG-CONT
if u have a fiery attached(imagePass C1/2) it should be set to "3"
for Fiery>
Always follow the shutdown procedure in printer tab/then follow shutdown procedure on control panel for printer-
I tell customers this a hundred times over & over> it prevents lock-up/errant codes/ & headaches
