    Canon ir105 Fuser Jamming

Hi i'm getting multiple jams in the fusing assembly, theres a loud screeching noise and when i pull out the fixing assembly there are 2/3 sheets jammed in the fuser. The most recent jam codes are 209 and 211. Can anyone help with this?

    Regards

    Re: Canon ir105 Fuser Jamming

Check the large brown ring gear on the end of the top fuser roller. It has a block sticking out from the inside which engages with the fuser roller slot to give it drive.
These often break away from the ring but as they have nowhere to go it looks like it is still in place.
It is however slipping and probably causing your screeching noise. As well as the jams of course.

Thanks for the reply mate, ended up being a fault with the seperation rollers on the paper deck not being fitted correctly causing the copier to lift too many pages and jam in the fuser.

    Thanks again
