    IR7105 FINISHER

    Hi Guys,
Has anyone come across this problem? I have two cases of these finishers misbehaving. The trays don't stop at their home positions and at times during copying, tray B would keep on moving up and down. I tried overhaul service, especially cleaning the tray sensors, but all was in vain. Any suggetions please!

    any codes/jams ??

Adjusting the sensor intensity on the Finisher V1 / V2

    Sensor ADJUST.pdf

check that limited functions are set to off. Under the limited functions tab now there are two pages for limited function. Be sure to check both pages

Thank you very much for the suggetion, it proved useful to some extent. I performed the procedure for adjustment and the results show all the sensors to be OK.
The tray B responds quite fine, however tray A can't stop at home position yet.

So far this is the outcome from the first machine, I haven't attempted the second one as it is not within easy reach. I will come back to you afterwards.

I lowered the trays A/B such that the sensors 6,7,8 and 9,a,b were respectively above the trays
