You can protect the machine from unauthorized access by setting Department ID Management.
If Department ID Management is enabled, only the users who enter the correct Department ID and password can gain access to the machine.
You can enhance the machine’s security by setting User ID Management. User ID Management enables you to block unauthorized access to the machine by registering User IDs and passwords from the Remote UI.
• If no password is set for the department ID, leave [Password] blank.
• If you make a mistake when entering the department ID/password, press (Clear) enter the correct ID/password.
• If you fail to log out after operating the machine, any subsequent copies, scans, or prints made are added to the set total counters of your department ID.
• The log-in screen for Department ID Management automatically appears after the set Auto Clear Time elapses.
• The modes that you have selected for a job are canceled when you log out.

**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
Guess what? I just knew what was wrong just want to share the mistake... Can you see the image? I put print limits 0 and print total 200... do'h no wonder it didn't work

i said "no limits", to make sure you got to a point of producing prints, then you could figure out the rest (which you did}.
I do not want to start a new thread so I'll ask here
I have 3080 printer in another department. Its open for everyone to print and I want it it stay like that expect that I want to restrict the copying feature, not remotley and not using ID department but an option from the machine its self.
how can I do that?
