Remove toners, remove waste toner bottle, remove cover under toners, with a can of air, blow air into where the black toner gears(front of toner housing) below there is the sensor that gets dirty, reassemble, problem solved. The last digit in the error code is the color(sensor) that is dirty, have seen that many,many times, its a very easy fix. Good Luck.Canon Cover to remove 12-8-2016 001.jpg
