Canon IR 5000

I have a Canon IR5000 installed in 2002. Can anyone tell me how to shutoff the sleep mode. I want the copier to stay on all the time.

this is a government regulated feature to comply the energy star rating.

you have to go into service mode>copier>option>user>sleep...set to a 0 and hit OK. Reset out to main screen

your machine will still go into "low power mode" and the max that it can be set at is 4 hours Additional functions (*)>timer settings>low power mode. Set and hit OK
