What Really causes error 004 in 8070.When i turn on the machine if Front door open the machine Turns ON. and close the Door none of the Fixing unit function is Working. The heating Element is Not heating. The error appeared followed after Error 0000.

E004 The fixing assembly is faulty.
0000 The SSR used to drive the fixing heater has a
short circuit (detection by hardware circuitry).
- Replace the AC driver PCB.
- Replace the DC controller PCB.
Caution
You will have to clear the error in service mode
(COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR).
Ask Paul for a service manual if you dont have any....
In my Service Manual No description for Er004-0001. Did ur Manual Have it.
