Hi to all.

I have access to service manual for this device but could not find any reference to this problem.

when unit is turned on only main power on led is on. it starts some of motors (mainly in scanner and adf), lcd is off and there is no image on it. Originally I thought that it might me fusing assy since unit would turn on and get to ready state but would shut down as soon as heater would get to working temperature (it would pick up paper and start copy process). I went today to customers office and unit would not turn at all. Only 1 in 30 attempts was something that resembled startup but unit would die out in minute or so. I tried even with fusing assy pulled out totaly.

in almost all machines of ir --70 series this may be due to boot ram or sd ram.try changing it or clean with a eraser rubber and try.

Yea man check the Ram and the Boot rom Clean it from dusts and spray it ,and it will works,it happened with me in clc3200 series if still the same change the MFC Board
