well one would be an error code....for example when you get an error the screen changes and gives you an error like E732-0001 switch power off and on.
the other is a jam code where the paper jams in the machine. the screen shows you instructions on how to remove the jam and then your machine goes through a rotation cycle and warms back up to start the job again without power cycling.
when you got those codes did you get them from service mode? if so what area in service mode did you get them from?
