    Re: Canon IRA 2030i internal finisher

    Teckats install pdf which is the same as I have mentions this at the end

    2) Enter the service mode.
    3) [COPIER} > [OPTION] > [ACC] > [IN-TRAY] , and set “1”.
    4) Turn OFF and then ON the main power switch.
    5) [Settings/Registration] > [Function Settings] > [Common] > [Paper
    > [Output Tray Settings], and check that menu is added.

    Is this right

    I have never needed to alter service mode when installing an inner finisher they are plug and play.

    In tray... as far as I know is only used when an additional fixed copy tray or sometimes when theres a buffer bypass.

    Or am I completely missing the point

    Angry Re: Canon IRA 2030i internal finisher

    Hello

    I have visited the client, took the finisher out, no sensor flag as suspected.

    I have verified in service mode both in tray and out tray are selected to 1 and I can see the extra options in fuction settings.

    But it will only print 100 pages to the finishing tray, then asks to remove the paper.

    The specifications does say 750 pages output.

    Is there a setting or configuration change anyone knows that dictates output?

    I have called Canon helpdesk, but they didnt help me too much...

    Thanks

    Red face Re: Canon IRA 2030i internal finisher

    I have checked all of this, a colleague pointed me to a possible explanation;

    The client is using stapling, the copier will output 35 sets and then ask for the paper to be removed;

    It has been pointed out to me that canon copiers *presume* that there is the maximum of 30 sheets per staple.

    30 sheets x 35 sets = 750 pages.

    Can anyone else verify this fact, Canon copiers presume every staple has 30 pages?

    Thanks

    Inner Finisher-C1 with optional
    Inner Finisher Additional Tray-A1
    • 750-sheet capacity*
    Corner and double stapling up to 50 sheets

    * 450-sheet capacity when Inner Finisher Additional Tray-A1 is attached.
