    Ir7095 Cassettes sensor

We got another of this machine and this time it turn the other way round. Goshhh .. Cassettes 1, 3 and 4 totally cannot detect any paper exist but it can detect the paper size on screen. Moreover the lifter was pushing the paper upward and stop while touching Lifter position sensor but it just no paper show on screen. I cleaned paper detection sensor on every cassettes, changed whole working cassettes unit of 1, 3 and 4, checked the timing belt at rear machine was in position, reconnect the wiring between the cassettes unit and DC Controller, it still no cure.

Is it possible the firmware problem or anything to activate at service mode? This is because i saw the meter for cassettes 1, 3 and 4 are not exceed 2k while cassettes 2 is at few hundred thousand.

If there is no paper stuck behind the cassettes, I would do a PPRINT, then dc-con clear, re-enter the values from PPRINT.
If that does not work I would replace the DC controller , or the cassette switches behind the units.

Im thinking of clearing the dc-con too but its beyond my knowledge on how to reinput back the values from PPRINT. Appreciate if someone can roughly mention on values reinput. I know this beast come with the on/off switch on sorter but i doesnt realize theres a switchs for cassettes behind the units. Are those switches visible without opening the rear cover?

whether you do do clear or not you should keep a PPRINT with all your machines.
If you change DC or MAIN controller, you are supposed to input the correct values also.
YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR DOOR SPECS FIRST TO SEE IF THE CORRECT VALUES ARE THERE
The main thing you have to do is go ibto COPIER> ADJ and re enter whatever has changed.
some of the values are in level2.
some changes are in OPTION> BODY and OPTION > USER.

I didnt adjust anything yet on service mode and when i close the cassettes drawer its silently lifting up the paper for all the cassettes 1, 3, and 4.

some components which controls those cassette sensors was blown

did you re-enter the door spec or pprint values, ?
                *28*
                copier
                Adjust.

your machine will still work without adjustment, but some day you may run into a weird problem, caused by wrong values.
