    IR 3320i, DADF-H1

    indicating a jam in doc feeder and pick up roller is staying down. Display shows to check under feed in cover and underside of doc feeder. There is no paper jammed. doc feeder sensors change from 0 to 1 in service mode so assuming they are good.

    Only thing I can find online is something about initializing the sensors? Couldn't find anything in service manual about this?

    Try this>>>> follow in order below-----
    1-power of printer>
    2-pull power plug from wall>
    3-then remove DADF Plug cable shown below>
    4-re-insert the DADF PLUG>
    5-Plug in power to outlet>
    6-power up printer

    if DADF p/u unit is still down> take off DADF COVERS inspect interior
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
