    Canon IR 2800

Hi,I got an error E 602-003 on Canon IR 2800.I tried to re-install firmware, but I got an SERVICE SUPPORT TOOL ERROR -3,when I try to do the HD format.I tried to replace the HDD(about 5 different models),but still I have the same error in SST -3.Does anyone know what is the problem?
    Thanks

more than likely the serial number of the HDD you are installing is not listed in the IFT file for that model. There are instructions on how to accomplish this listed in the forum.

I tried hd format v18,but nothing happened,i got the same error. When i get the error screen in SST,it says that error message is SWITCHING TO THE ECP MODE HAS FAILED.
    CAUSE OF /ACTION FOR ERROR
    -3

I check the .ift file, and my hard drive(model and type) model is listed in ver18.
Hard drive sounds very loud and somethimes is squeaking!
