IR 2020 install drum error messege

hi every body
i have ir2020 photocopy machine
give me messege " the drum is not set , install drum unit '
i make all ram clear , and remove drum and reinstall it and it's dos'nt work
please help

hello
i got same problem since 1 year in a deffernet machine try to remove all the connectors from the dc control
and the main board then turn on the machine and off it will work

Did you try to put old drum back in??

Check if the developer pressure release lever mechanism is working properly. It may not be locking the drum unit securely to make proper contacts. Check also the drum contact...leaf spring on the machines body. This problem tends to be common with the Ir 2016/2020.

Inspect>Check> & clean the high voltage contact to the drum unit-

Also check the ribbon cable between the DC Controller and the HVT PCB
