ir c5185 question

We picked up 5 of these units and 2 of them do not have printer icon on screen, it has print job and express copy added. How can we get the printer icon back on the screen so that we access network setting. Thanks

Printer tab only shows up when there is a RIP (Fiey controller) attached to the back,
The other printing configuration is an internal Canon board .

If you can't access to network settings, then this model is a CLC model not IRC. and there a difference.

1- in irc models, the printer option could be done by a licence installation if it's not an "i" model.

2- For a CLC model, to be able to print, it's necessary to install a Fiery.

In North america they are all called IRC (no CLC)
It is now possible to convert i models to use Fiery with a kit that has been made available.

usted debe de fijarse si es una version 5185 o 5185i; las versiones 5185i no utilizan FIERY y la copiadora debe de tener la opcion plc, ps y/o UFR para poder imprimir.
si usted cuenta con una version 5185 necesita de un fiery para poder imprimir haga las conexiones necesarias y luego si no aparece la ficha PRINTER dirijase a modo de servicio level 1.
