canon irc 5180 set up scan

Can anyone help with how to set-up scanning on the canon irc5180?

if copier has universal send then set up a shared folder on host computer and enter the folder path and host info in the address book of the copier.

if copier does not have universal send, download the network scan gear tool from canons driver site. it is a twain driver and allows the copier to scan using software like photoshop, microsoft office ect.
