    Cool Re: Canon IR5000 E0014

If the fixing motor (M19) is normally rotated by rotating the fixing knob lightly during warm-up rotation, it is possible that torque of the motor (FH6-1996) became insufficient. So, replace it with a new one
    Turn the fixing knob.
If the fixing knob does not rotate smoothly, check to see if the fixing or pressure roller rotates.
If the ball bearing does not rotate smoothly, replace it with a new one.

Two screws on the front fixing cover (need to open front door it's the top tray that slides out). Take off the cover and the motor will be right in front of your face. Don't take it apart replace it, you'll be there again the next morning with a rather irrate customer.

If you have sales people give them the lead, despite the fact 5000's are rock solid machines it should have been replaced by now.

Check the pressure roller bearings. Check the web for build up.

You said you replaced the feeding unit....does that mean the whole transport drawer with fuser included. If you did and still have error, check the connector inside the machine at rear(from the front) that the fixing drawer connector plugs into for a piece of paper or pieces inside connector. Clean inside connector with sandpaper and alcohol. If you cheat front cover, does fixing motor turn? As mentioned make sure rolls, bushings and bearings are good before digging in
