Reset ir3300 main counter!

I was playing about with a scap ir3300 & managed to reset the main counter! but now i'm getting a E246 error!

I think is a counter board problem and is hard to find the right answer here because what you've done is illegal for a Canon tech.

It does sound like you probably fried a board rather than actually resetting it... not surprising, given that the printer might be over 10 years old now.

no cigar! - youll see from your screen shot that is one case the machine still know its a ir3300 and the other it doesnt - so no not zeroed just a confused machine hence it cant read it counter board as the serial number have clashed.

I reinstalled the system software & it went back to normal, all working fine but with the original count back
