    imagerunner 2800 wavy

I'm attaching a test print. Said it's been doing this about 2 weeks. Not the scanner because it does it on prints and reports. Only does it about half the time though. I've never had a laser problem on one of these and I have several out in the field. Maybe do a clear and reinput? THIS IS COMING OUT LTR-R!

Argh! Replaced laser 3 days ago, customer says it is still doing this off and on. Thought it was resolved. Any ideas? Is the BC PCB included in the laser unit? Can't tell by the parts catalog..........Thanks in advance. I'm stumped!

99% is laser assy.Maybe two bad laser units?.Can be a grounding issue but never see on this model.Try with D CON-CLEAR.

Yeah, my thinking too. Just can't see two bad lasers doing the exact same thing. No codes or anything. May do it 3 out of 5 prints. spotty. started running from tray 2 and no problem after 30 pages. I told them to use tray two till morning and I will check back. I know, there's no explanation to that, lol. Got to thinking............ maybe I put the bad laser back in?

u need to check your wall voltage & voltage supply to Laser > must be constant>no fluctuations-

u could have a grounding issue inside frame/

do a wall check first > especially NET>GD= should be 0v > 0.5v nothing higher
