Replace hopper Dev and drum and toner tube for the affected color.

Hello Skazic, the Picture you posted shows the same Problem we had/have. There was no solution ever, Canon Support appears 3 times to no avail. We end up giving the customer our Showroom Mashine which works fine until now, so we can exclude poisoned Toner or something like that. The Problem lies definately in this mashine but i am not sucessful until now to find the faulty part. Last thing i tried was to interchange HV units to see, if the error transmigrate to another color, but no joy. I must admit, that i am running out of ideas here

I have replaced Bk drum with unit, then
primar corona, pre-transfer corona, Bk developing unit
HT-POST PCB (FM3-5254),
HVP-K PCB (FM3-9587)and
TRANSFORMER, H.V. (FK2-0105)
before i have exchange places of developer HV (FM3-9589) Bk to C
but nothing happening all is same.
Any ideas
Why don't you put the dev you removed in another machine and see what happens.
Maybe you will believe me.
I have solved magenta dropping by replacing hopper. dev. drum all at the same time
I would even suggest toner from a different LOT number
I changed the dev twice and watched it re-appear after 10 PG5s.
The info I was given came originally from guys sent from Japan to see the issue.

I would be looking at waste toner drive(it drives black waste feed screw and fur brush). If it was itb cleaning issue the spots would be crap coloured...brownish. Cleaner motor could be crashing or something. Seen the problem on their black and white cousins alot(6000 and 8000 series...actually seen the shaft break in process unit)

It does not make sense to replace because it is the yust motor driver.
Something must be with potential controll.
The picture shows that the pre-transfer corona overcrowded with Bk toner after 100 printouts
