CANON IR6870Ci Dark shades on the first few copies.

Hello,
Good day, its me once again, i have a Canon 6870Ci in which it has a dark shades on the middle of the paper about 8 inches, but when i make 10 copies it will gradually disappears, i tried to clean all the mirrors, check the cleaning blade, its ok, it was happened on the very first set of copies. Is someone who can help how the adjust the copy quality? Thank you very much.

Is it going from lead edge to trail edge etc

Could be drum or ITB cleaning blade
Could be Transfer roller.

Hi,
Yes it is from leading edge to trailing edge, i think the other problem is when the machine is ADJUSTING THE GRADATION, after it finishes the adjustment, when the copy cycle resumes thats where the dark background starts, and it occurred every the beginning of a copy cycle. Is it possible to stop the adjustment of the gradation?

Laser Shutter
Check if the laser shutter lever is deformed/defective

The machine is equipped with a mechanism to protect against exposure of its inside by laser light when the black toner assembly is opened. When the black toner hopper assembly is opened, the protrusion found on the hopper assembly releases the laser shutter, causing the laser shutter to close so that the laser path is closed.
If the DC controller PCB identifies the front cover, right cover, or black toner supply cover as being open, controller PCB forces the laser scanner motor and the laser unit to go off.

The laser scanner unit is equipped with a laser shutter [1].
Moreover, the actuator [1] of the laser shutter is
mounted to the hopper assembly.

there's also a fan which located on the front of the machine some times the edge broken and make this .


the fan position ,open the front door there's a fan face to you ,which you want to remove the primary or the drum unit must dissassamble it 2 screws
