IR 2200 Fax Help

Hey. I volunteer at a volunteer medical clinic and we have a ir 2200. Our fax machine just died and we want to upgrade our 2200 to also fax. I've found a fax board online. I called them and they told me I also need some software. Where can I find this software? How do I install it? What all do I need to turn my ir 2200 into a fax machine?

Super G3 FAX Board-J1 supports 33.6Kbps G3 Faxing Transmission using JBIG Compression Technology. Utilizing the memory from the Image Server, the FAX Board will be able to store fax settings and documents stored in memory (5.1GB HDD and 128MB RAM). Since it uses the Image Server memory in the main unit, it is not necessary to install extra memory.

When you install the Super G3 FAX Board-J1, you may/must upgrade the System Software, Language, BootROM, and RUI to the latest versions to ensure proper functionality of the Fax Board.

this depends on your version in printer !!!!

Do I really meed the Speaker unit? The only thing i've found online is the Super G3 FAX Board-J1 and where the phone line plugs in. Also, where can I find the " System Software, Language, BootROM, and RUI" ? And how do I install it?

Did you read my post(pdf).Speaker is included.And you don't need new firmware.

Yes I did, I found the board online, but it doesnt come with the Speaker. Do I need it?

It will work without the speaker.
The speaker is just for your convenience to be able to monitor the tones, and ensure dial tone.
