    Question iRADV5035i Machine displays E100-0300

    Actions taken so far:
    new Laserunits
    new DC-PCB
    new Main1 & 2 Controller
    all Cables and Pins checked.
    After Init Rotation the Error comes upand is permanent.

    Any suggestions??

    did u pt back your original settings>


    E100-0300: BD error (laser scanner unit 2) CYAN_BLACK_
    When the Laser Scanner Unit 2 (CBk laser) is started or print operation is processing, if the BD signal cannot be detected after the specified time.


    Scanner Motor (C, Bk)

    E100-0300: BD error (laser scanner unit 2)

    The BD signal cannot be detected when the Laser Scanner Unit 2 (C,Bk laser) is started or print operation is processing.

    This model is equiped with two lasers : Laser Scanner Unit 1 ( left assembly) for Yellow and Magenta and Laser Scanner unit 2 (right assy)for Cyan and black. They've the same number: FM3-5425-000 for iRAC5030/5035. So, take care to replace unit 2 in your case. You can also interchange their position and verify if the error extention has changed.

    Hi,
    thx for the infos, Clears were made and new laserunits changed. IŽll check the Powersupply.

    Did you fix this fault .got the same problem .replaced dc con & bk/c laser .also showing error for yellow .

    this is an intermittent fault

    Did you ever figure this out? I have a new C5235 with this error. I have already replaced the laser unit.
    intermittent error happens several times a day. I'm stumped, and busy!

    Canon has released new firmwarelease to fix this issue. Please update to latest and greatest.

    swap lasers to see if an error changes over to yellow & magenta

    latest for that series is v31.01.01

    E100-0300/ dont' see any update for E100-0300

    common remedies are checking connections and shutter related inspections
