Lightbulb Canon IR C3200 Fuser Units

Could any one please confirm the following for me, is the Canon IR Series fuser units a customer, or Service replacement?

Also, i kniow many service people may not like what i am about to say, but we are all part of a global economy bent on being green, the company i work for remanufacture serveral items for the aftermarket.

I have currently prepared two sample fuser units which i intend to install into a machine today. Do the units require some sort of chipping? or a counter resetting?

Any response would be grateful.

3200 fusers

easy to rebuild, with practice approx 20 minutes.
make sure even nip pressure.
release jam handle before, during rebuild so u do not warp case.
clc 1140 fuser bushing same size as lower bushings, but i think help lower bearing to last longer.
i have some in the field i have done up to 5 times,
keep old units for spare parts as needed.

Hi Charlie...
If you're an end user of the MFD then I'd recommend calling a technician.
If you're a technician then check the counters for the fuser under service mode.
Either way to test whether or not the rollers are flat spotted you can open the fixing delivery drawer, hold the white fuser drive gear at the rear of the assembly and give it a few spins.
If the roller has flat spots you'll feel it bind as you spin the gear.
That means it's time for the fuser to be refurbished by a technician.
