    [Misc] C1022i reset password

Hi, I searches this but couldn't find a way to fix this. We have a canon C1022i and only one person had access to this copier. Unfortunately, this employee had left in bad terms and we do not have the password to the machine. Is there a way we can reset the password. When calling Canon only thing they are willing to do is send a tech for a charge. I saw on a search to hit Additional Function then 2 and 8 at same time, but my machine does not have a Additional Function button.

    Please Help!

    Thanks

Clear a System Administrator Password in Service Mode

To clear the System Administrator password, u need to enter Service Mode ---------------------------------

      select >
press Main Menu > press #2 key(release) then press #8 key (release)> press Main Menu, scroll to Function, then Clear.

Select sys-info and press 'ok', then power cycle the machine. The system administrator password will be cleared after power cycling.

      either below will work----------------------------

      COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR>SYS-INFO
