If you have no idea on how to use it then you have no business working with it. Call an authorized Canon Technician.

finally, i got the manual for the copier irc 2550. and i know how to use the sst.....but the problem is i dont the the related firmware for it..........
Are you a Canon dealer, you should be able to get all the software FOC
If you are not, like myself you have to pay up, or if you know someone...

I bet you still have a long way to go especially in the use of the SST & Firmware. It takes a while to learn how to use them. My advice to you would be to take your time and and scan through the archive in this forum on all posts related to the use of SST & Firmware and study these posts. You will find a wealth of useful information to help you. This field is becoming increasingly academic, like the LAW profession we are now constantly required to be on the look out for new information through the internet and more and more reading of books and other related materials; If you are to continue to be relevant in this field, that is.

I have the SST and I prolly have the frimware as well, but this asshole is too cheap to buy it. He won't even shell out $12.77 to buy a manual which would give him a wealth of info. He comes here to pick the brains of the experts to get free advice. I guess he missed that checkbox when he signed up if he was in the trade or an end user. You guys should really give him all the advice he needs, let him really fuck up his copier, then he'll have to call for service and the tech will know that he tried to do it himself and should by all means charge him more. 3X the normal rate is sufficient.

1 st. i paid $ to get sst.....but the guy didnt teach me how to use it.....and finally i know how to use it now for other website....
2nd i am not asking for free firmware......dont always think about i am the god damn cheap man who want to get the free ware.....i just want to say if someone can share it....it will be better....i dont care to spend money to get the firmware..i dont!
by the way....thanks all of you guys for any opinion and suggestion.
i have called the local supplier to check and fix it....
but i still like to come here to get more information for the my copier......
