The Imagerunner is printing an extra sheet of paper with the name of the station that the job came from. Our tech support department can't figure out how to turn off this function. It is a huge waste of paper. Can anyone tell me how?

I think it is WSD Print Provider.
WSD Print Device
The driver is Canon iR C5180 PCL5c. Sorry. I'm not tech support. They seem to be very busy.
Its a web services device. What OS....Windows server 2008,7,Vista?? Its not the machine generating this. As asked earlier...application using? PDF? Check the settings on the server...cmon...IT should be able to figure this out. Need more info to do their job.....lol
Windows 7 Pro. Printing from any application will cause this extra header sheet to print. I don't have access to the server, but I'm guessing it is not the server because printing to other printers does not generate this extra sheet. Sorry I can't give you more info. I can't find a free manual for this printer online.
When someone sends a print job to the printer it also prints a sheet with their name on, the print job number, the date and the time. It actually sends it to a different tray than the actual print job. It is called a header for some printers. I can't find anything online about this.
Its a setting on machine or server(most likely). I had this before and can't remember where to change setting. Need to sit at workstation to do it. ITS NOT THE MACHINE DOING THIS. IT IS STUPID AND ONLY DOES WHAT IT IS TOLD. Your IT people need to get their books out obviously
