Model please. Usually an E-008 indicates fuser roll or fixing unit is at end of its life. If you replaced the fuser you have to reset these counters in service mode. Only E-009 i can think of is on an irc6800. Fault with external heating roll movement..let us know the model and go from there.

Totaly forgot model, C5185i. More info available. Not a fixing unit problem. Swapped out 4 all fuser related errors. Installed into another machine and the units work fine. Was told next step is main pcb. Is this true and what are procedures for main pcb replacement.

    Suggested causes are:
-Fixing pressure release Home position sensor
    -Fixing Pressure motor
    -DC Controller 2 (Maisy)

as vigour posted ==DC Controller 2 (Maisey)

check your connections have also seen connection issues (on Frame side) for this as shown in TECH PUB>>>

    see pub.Minimizing Error Codes---TP09 205d.pdf

also check Relay/Driver PCB PCB >>>> have also corrected e009 a few times by replacing this pcb> think it was a fuse issue on board>>
