unfortunattly that series is known for alot of drum problems from that one to the infamous E020-XXXX errors, for now the solution is to keep changing them

-----------------------------
all goes by % of toner coverage on documents > & not volume
NOTE==reminder
When installing a new drum or developer assembly you need to run "ITB-Drum" under user setting.
To run the user mode go into setting and registration / adjust maintenance / itb-drum.
There is a user mode that is to be used after replacing the drum units on these machine.
To see the user mode you first must enable it in service mode.
Step one: In service mode change Copier / Option / Display SW / ITB-DSP set to =1
Step two: Go into setting and registration / adjust maintenance / ITB-drum

yes hello!! i used to even on canon ir2018 i found bearing ball of DV get old and drum get same charge and failed very fast but on irc2020i drum their blade are very weak so u have to remove waste toner every 10k
and of course and like teckat said above the values for duration of toners varies according to percentage of coverage, the value given by canon is when considering a 5% coverage
