    Weird images on iRC5180

Gotta checked this client tomorrow iRC5180.

    What do you guys think?

He said it only happen when they print.

Copies off the glass are fine.

    He also said its intermittent.

    So the issue can be...

I'm guessing for now, black laser or a conversion fault (a faulty PCB)

who installed it for them? is the driver updated? did they use the one that comes with the machine(usually old and buggy)? i would go for a driver update and would take my own laptop to test it free of any indigenous network problems, have seen many strange and intermittent errors due to that, i'd give it a try and remember to check which drivers they used, probably using PCL 5 or 6 on a UFRII machine

Looks like text and fonts ok...what driver they using? Flash with newest firmware, clean your main sub boards contacts. And like mentioned, blow away drivers and re-install newest ones. Intermittent you say.....fun. Give this stuff a try. Time will tell

I went yesterday and determine the same thing with the drivers. After testing and making copies and nothing, I asked the person if anyone else printed and if they had this problem. It seems he is the only one who notice. No one else. I told them to have IT to update there drivers. Let's see.

you're probably good to go now it's the IT guy's responsibility, if he calls you for a tip tell him to go get the latest UFRII drivers
