In terms of image quality & color reproduction on coated / uncoated media :
Do you see an improvement in the iR Advanced C52XX series in comparison with iRC5180i series ?

5200 series uses a round fixing film. The 5180 uses a twin vbelt fuser. While both are relatively comparable I'm assuming the newer machine would make better coated copies. But all my custies run shit MPA recycled crap so I can't say for sure.
I am talking more about personal impression more than technical modifications..
Cheers
well my adv c5235i makes decent prints now, i saw an improvement in the blue range tones not a very big thing but still an improvement, on the coated papers it's does better prints and on 190 grams CLC paper it does a better job better than the ircXX80 series
Life is a learning continuum...
I find colors better on advanced machine..... IF CALIBRATED PROPERLY!!! Both business color machines....ok for nice color but not for accurate color matching. Like I said, business color. Not acceptable for most print shops. 7000 or 9000 series for accurate color(with RIP and goodies of course)
