canon ir2420 LOAD CORRECT PAPER A4 PLAIN COPY!!!!

My canon ir 2018 is asking me to load correct paper in the tray and in the bypass even when the paper size is correct and all the settings are correct. It would print one copy then ask to load paper, in the same time the machine erase 8mm from the left margin!!

can any one help me!

When trying to make a copy the message load correct paper size pops up.

CANON;
replacing the registration clutch can resolve this issue.
Registration clutch (FK2-5350-000).

Sir try to check the registration flag. Thats the common issue in this model. the flag is worn out already. Replace the flag to solve the problem

I usually not replace the flag, I stick a small film to lengthen the flag and the isue solved. Sorry for my english.

IR-2318,413k - solved temporarily putting some insulating tape over reg. flag until new flag arrive
Cleaning/replacing reg. clutch doesn't allways fix this kind of problem, as teckat mention.
