Convert Oce cs2136 to Canon IPF700

Hi

I´m tryng to upload the firmware of Canon IPF700 in to my OCE CS2136, to use canon printer head, because is more simple to me to get one, but it keeping tell me that file is no valide.

Is this possible to make or i just was my time?

Does any one already test one printer head frome canon in this machine, does it work eaven with Oce firmware?

I don't know why you want to do like that
It is impossible due to there will be some hardware modifications to prevent interchange.

The change of the firmware is not my concern, but price of he head is, IH-035 it´s the same PF-03, one in retail for me is 230€ hte other is 450€, plus vat, this is a big difference for the same thing.

Is possible to use the PF-03, or i need to altter the wire connection´s in the board.

Good luck....i never try to stick Chevy engines into Fords. You start messing with wiring and software on this thing and you will turn it into a boat anchor. Files might be encrypted...who knows.
