I would like some opinion on the behavior of TPM enabled on a Service Laptop that has used all of Canons service tools. Can we expect things to work as smooth as a system that does not have TPM enabled? This is about our laptops, not TPM on the Advance series. I will usually flip the TPM chip on the copier, I know if the customer enables TPM, then any files stored in the copier would be lost with a drive failure. I would like to make sure that this kind of pain will not be felt from a Service Department Laptop that is being protected with TPM in any case.

I suppose that even if the laptop is using TPM you could still leave the serv tool folder unencrypted. However, the question is aimed at overall experience, ease of use and if any regrets have been occurred !
