    Nope.

    I've tried! It will take the software like it wants to work, but it will not connect.

    Actually it a "do-able" thing, it a matter of whether you have more than 3 pieces of that motherboard PLUS a lot spare time to install / strip / reload OS. If you examine closely at the motherboard, they almost identical.

    I did accidentally convert T1 to H1, way back during the initial launch of this 2 products and it works! But nowadays , EFI kinda put in a security chip into the motherboard so more profits can be earned.

    What I don't get is when I look up part numbers for the motherboards in both these models they are the same #?? So.... what's different other than software?

    H1
    FE1-6101-000 1 EEP-ROM, U7201

    T1
    FE1-6160-000 1 EEP-ROM, U7201


    Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory



    EEPROMs do not need to be removed to be modified.
    However, an EEPROM chip has to be erased and reprogrammed in its entirety, not selectively.


    Canon may have preset lock information stored ?

    Ahh, answered my question.

    Still not a fan of those little Linux-based servers, too many issues and too unstable.
