    IRADV-5030

    Hi have an irca 5030 that keeps rebooting.Any help would be welcomed

    two happened the same problem having to change Main Controler 1 FM4-3833

    i have had a similar rebooting problem. reboot occured when start bar was about halfway across. the plug on the fax board was not fully inserted into machine. plug is left side rear close to plug from reader unit. should be able to check without removing any panels.

    Try to use Controller-self diagnosis function on iR Advance series.
    a/ Boot System Error Diagnosis Tool: Turn On machine while pressing Control Panel Power Supply Switch
    b/ Controller System Error Diagnosis Tool: Turn On machine while pressing simultaneously numeric key "2" and "4"
    If you could not go into that mode then I am sure that should replace Main Controller 1.

    could use some more information regarding your particular issue.

    there are many reasons for a system reboot to happen.

    at what point during the startup does the machine reboot?

    does it throw up an error message before restarting?

    have you tried to put the machine in download mode?

    As above, Need.More.Info........Could be a lot of things. From corrupt print jobs to the Mn Cont.

    We replaced a hard drive for an issue like this. Reloading software did not help.
