Hi TekCat,
If your talking about the little black plastic flags that move up and down when the paper is on them to indicate paper in the tray, these are not sticking and they appear to be operating normally.
Thanks for the suggestion.
If I am wrong on what I am saying about the flags, please enlighten me as to their location and description.
Thank you again

If u still receive remove paper -- the sensor needs to be check--

Hi Tekcat,
I have the one similar to the top pic,
But I have two paper trays on the finisher.
I have checked the flags on both trays, they both are functioning normally and do not appear to have any foreign matte in their crevices either.
Still not sure what is causing the issue.
Thanks again.

Yeah Tek,
I Checked the flags, they are Not sticking anywhere
I don't have the 2 tray external finsher.
Mine has the "S1"fnisher I think.
It is built into the machine and you have to slide it out to work on it.
Has 2 trays on it and they stick partway out the side of the machine just past the cover for the ADF.
Actually Tek, I do have the bottom pic setup.
Sorry These pics are small and hard to see details on them.

Ok -- it is a S1
Like i said- just because u can move flags -- this does not determin if a sensor is good or bad unless checked in service mode or from the connection to it's signal pcb.
If u still receive that message to remove paper--u need or a tech needs to check signals
